What happens when a chairman resigns and there is no vice chairman to take his place?
What do you do if your chairman resigns mid term and you have no vice chairman.
Can your management committee appoint a replacement or do you need to call an EGM to chose and elect a replacement
Dear Nobby,
I do not know what an "EGM" is but here is the fundamental principle that applies to all resignations. First the bylaws should state who fills a vacancy. Second, if the bylaws are silent, the entity that appointed the original chairman is the entity that fills the vacancy.
Cheerio,
